These Terms govern purchases and use of Story & Seal products, websites, and digital services.

By purchasing or using Story & Seal, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Story & Seal

Story & Seal provides serialized physical storytelling products and related digital experiences intended for family use.

2. Adult purchases

Purchases must be made by an adult legally able to enter into a contract.

Story & Seal products may be intended for young readers, but subscriptions, billing, account management, and consent are the responsibility of the purchasing adult.

3. Orders and subscriptions

A Story & Seal season includes [12] scheduled chapters. At checkout, the price, payment schedule, shipping charges, and whether your purchase renews automatically will be clearly displayed before you place your order.

4. Shipping

Include:

Estimated dispatch cadence
Domestic territories
Lost mail procedure
Address changes
Reship policy
International availability

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel via email at hello@storyandseal.co

Cancellation stops future dispatches as described at checkout. Because Story & Seal is a serialized physical product, A refund can only be requested within 30 days of initial purchase.

6. Story & Seal Case Portal

Access to certain Story & Seal experiences may include use of the Case Portal and NFC access token. Digital features are intended to complement the physical product and may require a compatible internet-connected device.

7. Age and supervision

Story & Seal adventures are designed for young readers, but the service is purchased and managed by adults. Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether a particular story, puzzle, or digital feature is appropriate for their child.

8. Intellectual property

Story & Seal stories, characters, artwork, puzzles, designs, software, logos, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Story & Seal and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Reproduction and resale is prohibited.

9. User conduct

Any attempts to:

interfere with portal
circumvent security
scrape content
redistribute digital assets
use system commercially without permission

will result in immediate cancellation of subscription and referral to appropriate authorities.

10. Product variations

Because Story & Seal contains printed and tactile materials, minor variations in color, printing, paper, wax, or other physical details may occur and are not considered defects.

11. Availability and changes

While we settle on form and function long before public release, we reserve reasonable ability to change:

features
portal functions
stories
production materials

but never in a way to materially reduce something already purchased.

12. Disclaimers / limitation of liability

Notwithstanding any damages that You might incur, the entire liability of the Company and any of its suppliers under any provision of this Terms and Your exclusive remedy for all of the foregoing shall be limited to the amount actually paid by You through the Service or 100 USD if You haven't purchased anything through the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Company or its suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data or other information, for business interruption, for personal injury, loss of privacy arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Service, third-party software and/or third-party hardware used with the Service, or otherwise in connection with any provision of this Terms), even if the Company or any supplier has been advised of the possibility of such damages and even if the remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, which means that some of the above limitations may not apply. In these states, each party's liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

13. Governing law

This Agreement shalll be governed by the laws of the United States and New York State. By using Services, you waive any claims that may arise under the lawas of other states, countries, territories or jurisdictions.

14. Changes to Terms

We may change the terms of this policy (including the excess) by giving you or your broker notice in writing or by electronic means at your or your broker’s last known address. Unless otherwise specified in this policy the change in terms will take effect from 4pm on the 30th day after the date of the notice.
